Lansinoh Giyilebilir Çiftli Göğüs Pompası
The wearable breast pump I recommend — hands-free, you can pump anywhere.
The same list of things we actually bought, tried and loved — for shoppers in Turkey.

The wearable breast pump I recommend — hands-free, you can pump anywhere.
More affordable — also great, but not wearable, so trickier to use out and about.
Milk storage bags — a must if you're pumping; you can freeze them to use later too.
A nipple everter — in my first week my nipple wouldn't come out easily, and this helped.
A nursing pillow — it makes things easier not just for the baby but for you too.
Being able to unclip the bra easily is a real luxury, especially if you want to nurse while you're out.
Babies sometimes can't latch at first — I used these for the first week. Keep one on hand just in case; the hospital may be out of the size that fits you.
Nipple cream, fully organic — I used it after every feed; since it's organic you don't need to wash it off before nursing again.
For leaking milk — something you use constantly, a must.
For soothing the breasts — these really helped me.
A milk-boosting tea. Early on I was constantly anxious about whether my baby was getting enough, so I drank it all the time. My supply went up — whether it was thanks to this, I honestly don't know :))
From an FDA-approved maker. In the US I used Motherlove Moringa — this is the Turkey equivalent.
The wide neck feels like the breast — we combined breast and bottle with this right up to 18 months.
My right hand — no scrubbing by hand; or wash and just let it dry and sterilise. Basically a dishwasher for the baby.
I lean on the Siveno brand for pretty much everything.
If you need a slightly bigger bag, this one's great for travel.
For short outings, to keep the milk warm or cold.
My extra pair of hands — the product most worth its money, thank goodness it exists :) The luxury of napping the baby on my chest even while cooking.
A must — baby can happily hang out watching you until they're walking.
In the newborn days we were out with this all the time.
My son is 2 and I still use this bag — so practical, tons of pockets.
We used this for the whole first 6 months so baby could sleep comfortably — slept in it in the evenings too, until the crib arrived.
The more affordable option.
We have two strollers — a big-wheeled one for the city and this cabin-size one-hand-fold for travel. Being able to take it on the plane is a huge relief.
A mosquito net — an absolute must if you're giving birth in summer especially.
A mosquito net — an absolute must if you're giving birth in summer especially.
Sends some babies straight into a deep sleep.
A head-shaping pillow to prevent flattening. I didn't use it much, and my son's head turned out just fine :)
Up to age 1 especially, these muslin cloths get used every single day.
Since we go to basketball games, these were constantly useful for us :D
After the birth the hospital gave us this brand, so it's the one I know. My son didn't use any other pacifier.
An organic foam baby shampoo — because it's a foam it doesn't cause cradle cap in newborns. 3 bottles is enough for the first few months.
To soothe the baby's skin after a bath — you can also just use real olive oil.
Nappy-rash cream — we only use it when the baby actually has a rash. It works fast and clears it right up; my number one for rash.
Important for keeping the air in the room clean.
View from your phone — does the job; I have one too, sometimes put it in the living room.
22°C is ideal for a baby — keep one in the room and track it.
You'll always, unfortunately, need a thermometer.
We always used these — very happy; I've tried just about every wipe out there.
For the first 2–3 months I cleaned with cotton before switching to wipes.
Use it daily as a moisturiser when changing your baby's nappy. Any ointment brand works, or you can use Vaseline.
4 boxes is enough for a full year. Give 1 drop a day from your baby's very first day; if you pick another brand, make sure it's organic.
Formula to supplement breast milk, or for babies who won't take the breast — one of the best brands.
For teething pain — may be needed after around 6 months.
