About Compass Ways

Compass Ways is more than a travel brand.

It's a story about choosing your own direction, embracing adventure, and discovering that life's greatest journeys are often the ones you never planned.

We're Övgü, Tutku, and our little explorer.

Our story began on a basketball court, where a shared love for competition turned into a shared love for life. What started as two people chasing adventures together has grown into a family of three, exploring the world one destination at a time.

In December 2024, our greatest adventure arrived — our little boy.

If you've noticed our logo, you'll see that our compass points South. That isn't a coincidence.

He is our South — the direction our whole world now points.

For us it also means following your own way instead of the one the world expects. That's the heart behind Compass Ways.

The name Compass has its own story, too.

It was originally inspired by our names—Compliment (Övgü) and Passion (Tutku)—coming together to create a new identity. But over time, Compass became much more than a combination of two names.

Today, Compass Ways represents curiosity, freedom, exploration, and living intentionally.

We believe adventure doesn't stop when life changes.

It doesn't stop when you become parents.

It doesn't stop when you build a career.

It simply looks different.

Some days that means hiking through national parks.

Some days it means taking a toddler on safari in Africa.

Some days it's discovering the best local café in a city you've never visited before.

And sometimes, it's finding joy in the ordinary moments that become lifelong memories.

Our goal is to inspire people to build a life they don't need a vacation from.

Through travel, healthy living, fitness, food, entrepreneurship, and parenthood, we hope to show that you don't have to choose between building a family and following your dreams—you can do both.

And encouraging others to follow the path that feels true to them, wherever their own compass points.

We're so glad our paths have crossed.

People often ask what we do.

The truth is, Compass Ways started as a passion project.

Övgü built her career in strategy, finance, and international business, while Tutku comes from a background in languages and telecommunications.

But outside our careers, we've always shared one dream: creating a life built around freedom, experiences, and meaningful adventures.

Compass Ways became the place where that dream came to life.

Today, we travel the world as a family, sharing destination guides, boutique hotels, family-friendly adventures, healthy recipes, fitness, everyday moments, and honest stories about building a life filled with purpose.

As Compass Ways continues to grow, so does our mission.

We're creating travel guides, curated itineraries, digital resources, and educational content to help others travel more confidently, create location-independent opportunities, and design a life that feels authentic to them.

Because at the end of the day, life isn't measured by how many places you've visited.
